Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to connect my ANZ account to Steady?
Yes. Steady never sees or stores your ANZ password. The connection goes through Akahu, which is regulated in NZ and uses bank-grade OAuth. You log in on ANZ's own website and grant read-only access to your transaction history.
Which ANZ accounts will sync?
All your visible ANZ accounts should appear — everyday, savings, credit cards, and loans. You can choose which ones Steady uses when calculating your balance and Safe to Spend.
Does Steady work with ANZ goMoney?
Steady is separate from ANZ goMoney. You'll keep using goMoney for transfers and payments; Steady adds automatic tracking, AI insights, goals, and forecasting on top.
Can I disconnect ANZ from Steady?
Anytime, from Settings. You can also revoke Steady's access directly in Akahu or contact ANZ.
