What payment methods do you accept?+
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, all processed securely via Stripe.
Do I have to connect my bank account?+
No. Plus includes CSV statement import for ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank and TSB. Export from your online banking, upload to Steady, and you get the same categorisation, budgets, goals, and AI insights as automatic sync, without sharing bank login details. Both paths are included in the $12.99/month Plus plan.
Is my data secure?+
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, Steady never sees or stores your banking password (Akahu handles bank connections), our access is read-only, and we comply with the NZ Privacy Act 2020.
What happens if I downgrade?+
You keep your current features until the end of the billing period, then drop to the lower tier automatically.
Can I upgrade mid-cycle?+
Yes. You pay a prorated difference for the rest of the cycle and immediately get the new features.
Is there a family discount?+
The Family plan gives up to 5 people everything in Plus for $19.99/month, that's about $4/person/month, well under a third of the Plus rate per person.
